IMaSS Emerging Contaminants Day

IMaSS Emerging Contaminants Day – Food Contact Materials
IMaSS Emerging Contaminants Day – Food Contact Materials is a dedicated event focused on analytical methodologies, emerging contaminants, and regulatory aspects of materials and articles intended to come into contact with food (MOCA).
The event highlights the key role of analytical control throughout the entire food safety supply chain, with particular attention to packaging materials, cooking utensils, and all materials intended for food contact. Practical applications, advanced analytical protocols, and regulatory approaches aimed at preventing the release of potentially hazardous substances will be presented.
In a context of increasing focus on food safety, environmental quality, and human health protection, the monitoring of food, water, air, and food contact materials is essential to ensure regulatory compliance and consumer safety.
📍 The event will take place at Food Contact Center, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory for food contact materials (FCM), located at Via del Redolone 65, Loc. Ponte Stella, Serravalle Pistoiese (PT), Italy.
