Global migration tests are carried out to identify the quantity of substances that are transferred to food using an appropriate food simulant as EU Regulation NO. 10/2011 of the Commission of January 14th 2011 and Reg. (EC) 1935/2004.

Specific migration tests are carried out to identify substances subject with specific restriction as from EU Regulation No.10/2011 using a worst-case simulant, since the migration into the stronger simulant also covers the migration into other simulants, in line with EU Regulation No.10/2011, 2.2 paragraph. Screening approaches , 2.2.4 paragraph, and with Guidelines draft version produced by JRC about how to test.

Integrated analytical plans are created including international standards, BfR Recommendations, French Legislation, non – EU standards: FDA, MERCOSUL/R RESOLUTIONS, Chinese, Japanese, and a further 58 countries.
